Pyrolysis Stove Group - Wednesday Nights @ 7:00 Discovery Lab ECB

While
researching stove design last semester Matt Carlson shared with us a
really cool idea he was researching.  It's called pyrolysis and here's
a quick summary of how it works (I attached a drawing to illustrate the
concept).

This is a continuing project from last semester.  What
we have so far is a working prototype, although there are a few design
flaws. We need to make this stove first and foremost SAFE.  Once we
have safety figured out we’ll then look into sustaining a burn long
enough to boil a pot of water.

 Our first meeting will include
hashing out what we have done so far, what needs to be done, and other
goals of the project (including beating the clay stove group in our
boiling water competition that is going to take place at the end of the
semester).
