Clay Stove Group - Tuesday Nights @ 7:00 Discovery Lab ECB

Because
of deforestation, the Rwandan people are having a pretty tough time
finding fuel to cook their food and boil their water. On the last two
trips we went on, we've implemented a biomass tech called fuel
briquetting to alleviate their energy troubles.

It was really
successful except for one short coming – they couldn’t cook anything
with them! The heat dissipated too quickly because they had no stoves
to burn the briquettes in.

Now we're looking to make a stove out
of clay that can solve this problem, as clay is a plentiful resource in
the village. We want this stove to be as cheap and effective as
possible. Come by and check out this group, it’s sure to be a good
time!
