Online Donations
If you would like to make a secure online donation, please follow this link and these instructions:
-Go to the UW Foundation Donations Page.
-Select Designation: College of Engineering
-Designate Fund: EWB
Under: "For your convenience, detailed instructions for directing your gift have been added below. If you like, you may modify or add to these instructions.", The EWB fund should already be filled in with our fund (Peter J. Bosscher Engineers Without Borders Fund (12344037)). You do not need to change this.
-Designate Project and Purpose (Optional):
You may choose to further designate your gift in the detailed instructions box to a project (Domestic, El Salvador, Haiti, Kenya, Rwanda) and/or purpose (student travel, equipment, etc.). For example:
"Peter J. Bosscher Engineers Without Borders Fund (12344037) - Kenya, Student Travel"
-Inform us of your donation: please send an email to the EWB Financial Manager (echou@wisc.edu) including your name, amount, and project designation so that we may watch for you donation and ensure that it is processed.

Please make checks payable to: UW - Foundation, Care of Engineers Without Borders
EWB-USA is a 501(c)(3) organization. 501(c)(3) is a specific IRS tax code that EWB-USA must follow to retain it's non-profit status. All funds must be deposited in a bank account with 501(c)(3) tax ID for the donation to be tax deductible. This means that funds can only be deposited at EWB-USA or in the UW Foundation Account.
Once you make a donation, EWB-USA or the UW Foundation will send you a thank you letter that acts as a receipt and can be included in your taxes
