Kenya Potable Water and Sanitation Group Meeting

This group will tackle the many water and sanitation problems of Orongo, Kenya. We are focused on three things:
1) Treating their existing drinking water so it is safe
2) Building latrines that don't collapse or flood during their rainy season
3) Educating both children and adults about sanitation and safe water

Starting in November, this group is working on building a slow sand filter and will be building a prototype here in madison on Sunday November 16th! So feel free to contact Mark at mwliu@wisc.edu if you want to help out!

Also, note that we have moved back to meeting in the Engineering Centers Building basement! It is also called the discovery center. If you walk into ECB, and go down the stairs, you will find us there.
