Hola!
Today was both a relaxing and somewhat productive day. After several days of trying to repair the excavator we were planning on using to dig the trench, we finally decided to rent one instead. The excavaotr will arrive on Monday morning and we plan to be ready to work very hard to be as productive as possible during the time it is here.
The design team spent lots of time resurverying the area through which we plan to dig, and we also obtained permission to dig through the backyards of some community members. The wastewater and microbial teams collected more samples and also rceorded flow measurements at various locations throughout the river and treatment plant.
The best part of the day was our dinner excursion to eat pupousas, which were delicious!
